Hierbij wens ik je heel graag het allerbeste toe voor het nieuwe jaar!
Dat 2016 een gezond en zorgeloos jaar mag zijn,
sprankelend en harmonieus, boordevol mooie momenten.
Dansen zal er natuurlijk ook nog steeds bij zijn! De komende maanden zijn er optredens gepland in Brussel (Layali Dubaï III brengt deze keer een hommage aan de grote zangeres Warda), en ik breng ook enkele dagen in Duitsland door voor optredens (Raks Berlin en Tänze der Welt Dortmund).
De online lessen lopen nu exact een jaar, en het gaat goed! Ik geniet nog even van het kerstverlof voor de lessen opnieuw van start gaan vanaf woensdag 6 januari. Inspringen kan op elk moment, check de website voor alle details!
Queenie on the road: workshop-dag in Wetteren
Na een succesvolle eerste editie, nodigde Katleen me uit voor een tweede Queenie Day op verplaatsing in Wetteren. Deze zal plaatsvinden op zondag 13 maart in de Warande.
Zoals steeds gaan we van start met een “Practice Flow” om op te warmen en te werken aan algemene buikdanstechniek en -combinaties. In de workshop daarna focussen we op draaitechnieken, en als kers op de taart: een romantische sluierchoreografie.

May 2016 be a healthy and care-free, sparkling and harmonious,
filled with beautiful moments to cherish.
For me personally, the first half of 2016 will mostly be about my health coaching training, which I will finish in June. Exciting!
Of course there will still be dancing as well! The coming months, I will be performing in Brussels (Layali Dubaï III honours the great singer Warda), and I will spend several days in Germany for performances (Raks Berlin and Tänze der Welt Dortmund).
The online classes have been running for exactly one year now, and everything is going well! I am still enjoying the Christmas break before picking up the weekly lessons on Wednesdays, from 6th January onward. You can join in at any time, make sure to check the website for all the details!
Queenie on the road: workshop-day in Wetteren
After a successful first edition, Katleen invited me for a second Queenie Day in Wetteren, Belgium. This will take place on Sunday 13th March at Sports Centre de Warande.
As usual, we start with a “Practice Flow” to warm up and to work on general belly dance technique and combinations. In the following workshop, we focus on turning techniques. Last but certainly not least, I will teach a romantic veil choreography.
