After a fun warmup combination, we go into a longer drill to practice a slow and steady shimmy. Next, we zoom in on hip work technique and combining this with travelling steps. There are hip locks, omi (internal) hip circles, upward figure 8s and the 3/4 walking shimmy with the accent on the side (out-up-down), all combined with optional layers. Happy dancing!
