12u-13u: Soft & smooth dance flow
In deze “flow” gaan we aan de slag met vloeiende bewegingen en overgangen. Het principe van Queenie’s practice flow is dat de techniek kort toegelicht wordt waar nodig; de focus ligt op het dansen en de toepassingen in de praktijk.

13u30-15u30: Drumsolo techniek
Na de eerste workshop steken we een tandje bij! We leggen ons toe op verschillende technieken die gebruikt worden in drumsolo’s. De percussie nodigt uit tot krachtige accenten, stevig heupwerk en shimmies, maar ook verplaatsingen en trage ritmes komen in deze workshop aan bod. Deze technieken gieten we in combinaties, zodat ze gemakkelijk ingeoefend kunnen worden.

16u-18u: Drumsolo choreografie
Als kers op de taart worden de technieken uit de vorige workshops toegepast in een verrassende choreografie. Niet te missen!

12h-13h: Soft & smooth dance flow
In this “flow” we work with smooth moves and transitions. The concept of Queenie’s practice flow is that technique is explained briefly if needed, but the focus is on dancing and practicing.

13h30-15h30: Drumsolo technique
After the first workshop we pick it up a notch! We work on different techniques used in drum solo’s. The percussive music asks for strong accents, powerful hip work and shimmies, but this workshop also explores travelling steps and slow rhythms. These techniques are used in combinations for easy practice.

16h-18h: Drumsolo choreography
Putting the cherry on top, the techniques from the other workshops are used in a surprising choreography with lots of variety. Not to be missed!
